This training is designed for professionals who work with people in recovery and want a clearer understanding of recovery-oriented practice. Participants will explore the connection between substance use and mental health, review SAMHSA’s definition of recovery, and examine the four major dimensions and 10 guiding principles of recovery.
Attendees will leave with practical insight into applying these principles across different roles and settings. Through interactive learning, professionals will strengthen self-awareness, maintain healthy boundaries, and enhance their ability to provide consistent, recovery-focused support.
