As part of our celebration of Recovery Month 2026, TAADAS has partnered with the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services and Samaritan Recovery Community to highlight the strength and breadth of the recovery community.

Linking hands to form a human chain across the Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge in Nashville will show support for recovery in Nashville - this event will illustrate the importance of support and connection in the recovery journey.

In addition to the human chain, the event will feature community booths, food trucks, family-friendly activities, and live music, creating an engaging and welcoming atmosphere for all. This year’s music lineup includes Kelly Emerson for the second year in a row, along with Nashville native Bo Tillman, whose local roots will bring a special connection to the celebration. Whether you’re in recovery or simply supporting the cause, this is a chance to stand together and spread hope across Nashville.

Hands Across the Bridge T-Shirts

Commemorate this year’s Hands Across the Bridge event with an official event t-shirt! Shirts are $30 each and are available for pre-order only.

All orders must be placed by Friday, August 21, by close of business to allow enough time for production. Shirts will be ordered in bulk and shipped to TAADAS first. Attendees may pick up their shirt at the event, or choose the shipping option at checkout if they would like their shirt mailed after the order arrives.
