This training is designed for professionals who work with people in recovery and want to use lived experience in a way that builds trust, inspires hope, and supports ethical practice. Storytelling can be a powerful tool in recovery-focused work, but its impact depends on when, how, and why personal experiences are shared. This training explores purposeful self-disclosure, helping participants understand how to share their story in ways that are relevant, supportive, and centered on the needs of the people they serve.
Participants will leave with practical tools to shape and share their recovery narrative with clarity, confidence, and appropriate boundaries. The training addresses emotional safety, ethical considerations, and cultural awareness, ensuring stories are shared responsibly and effectively. By the end of the session, professionals will be better equipped to use storytelling to strengthen connection, promote resilience, and empower others—while maintaining professionalism and personal well-being. There is a cost for this training of $30. If the payment is not recieved you will not be sent the training link. Please pay online when you register.
