Please join Northeast Tennessee Suicide Prevention Network (TSPN) regional staff and staff from the Suicide Prevention Team at James H. Quillen VA Medical Center for our upcoming Lethal Means Safety training. Lethal means safety is the safe and temporary reduction of access to items that could be used in a suicide attempt. Becoming educated in ways to improve lethal means safety among those struggling with suicide is an important tool in suicide intervention and prevention. Join us to learn ways to improve lethal means safety, hear about evidence-based research supporting the value of lethal means safety in suicide interventions, and become familiar with additional resources that are available.
Attendees must be 18+ to participate in this training. Attendees must plan to attend the full 2 hour training. This session of Lethal Means Safety Training is limited to 50 participants. There is no cost to participate in this training. Registration is required.
