ASIST is a two-day, skills building workshop that prepares caregivers of all kinds to provide suicide first aid interventions. At an ASIST workshop, you'll learn how to prevent suicide by recognizing signs, providing a skilled intervention, and developing a safety plan to keep someone alive. This two-day training has benefited a variety of audiences including: primary care professionals, clergy, school personnel and educators, law enforcement, mental health professionals and the general public. Participants can not be younger than 16 and must attend both days, registration fees are non-refundable.
