At TAADAS, advocacy is a core component of our mission to support addiction prevention, treatment, and recovery. As a TAADAS member, you play a pivotal role in championing these efforts by amplifying the voices of those affected by addiction, engaging with policymakers, and driving meaningful policy changes that expand access to treatment and recovery.
Our Day on the Hill event scheduled for February 11 provides an opportunity for TAADAS members to meet with state lawmakers who make decisions on funding and policies that impact your ability to provide addiction treatment.
Members will meet with their local House and Senate members, observe a legislative committee, and promote TAADAS's advocacy goals.
We'll start with a legislative breakfast at the Cordell Hull State Office Building from 7:30 am to 9:00 am, followed by meetings with lawmakers throughout the morning and afternoon.
TAADAS appreciates your help with advocacy in 2026!
